You may have already received this answer, but eBay is a great resource for used equipment. Kevan Candles enables the design of a sail for far less than most of the sailmaker and has very good quality of fabrics and sewing. Get your boat in the water soon. Best of luck.

Since you have a boat and a finishing kit, you can check your own candles. To www.sailrite.com
Sailrite has everything you need Gromet screen, screws, belts, sewing machines and all the bells and whistles. I would have before the cut, the computer designed sails for your boat.
They have videos and books on how to make candles, but the panels are precut, so you only have to unite.
You get new sails, a new set of skills and proudly say they built the sails and the boat. And if something happens to a candle, share your knowledge and skills to have repair, overhaul, the candle.
That saves a lot of money. I found that the price is about 1 / 3 the cost of new sails.
Sailrite where I work, or give to make money, this Council meeting. I am a sailor and I think this budget is the best option, in addition to using candles or new sails for free:)
